Forget Florals, Check Out THIS Print For Spring

You know it’s spring in the countryside when these yellow fields are every where you turn – and how could I not shoot in one? I’ve done this shoot a couple of times in the past, always wearing a denim dress, but I felt like going in a different direction with it this year. I got this top from SheIn a while ago but haven’t really worn it properly, until today. It’s pretty much the perfect, on-trend top right now. It’s got ruffles and cold shoulder details and what more could you need for spring? Florals are the It-print and as much as I love them, is it just me or do florals always get all the attention? Surely lemon print is way cooler?

Of course, it wouldn’t be a look worthy of the blog without a little bit of denim thrown in for good measure. I thrifted these Topshop denim mom jeans a while back and really haven’t worn them, all because they had a stitched turn up at the bottom that made them stop just a teeny bit short on my calf. Why I didn’t unpick the stitches and let down the turn up sooner I don’t know, because now I’m loving them. When you wear skinnies all day long for pretty much every day of the week, it’s nice to put on something that sits a bit looser and gives your legs some breathing space. Who’s with me?
