Sun’s Out, Arms & Legs Out! | Pink Suede Dress

Who saw my Instagram post earlier with the first day of the year I’ve properly been able to bare my legs? Yeah, I’ve been posting outfits with bare legs for a little while now this year, but today was the first day I could actually sit outside in a skirt for longer than it takes to shoot photographs, and it was bliss. In celebration of the lovely weather we’ve been having, I’m bringing you a very summery look with bare legs, and bare arms. How lucky? In case you hadn’t noticed from the other post I did in a pink dress, (read it here) I like pink dresses. This time it’s faux suede with a scalloped hem and it’s possibly the softest material I’ve ever felt. Ever. I’ve talked a million times about how comfort is a big factor for me when it comes to fashion, and this has got to be the ultimate dress for comfort. I guess it’s kind of a t-shirt dress – it’s simple and just loose enough without looking like I’m wearing a potato sack. Yes, SheIn have done it again with their pretty dresses, and omg it’s less than £13!!! Shop it here.

Let’s also talk about how perfectly this gorgeous necklace from Victoria Emerson goes with the dress. Now you guys know I’m not really one for statement jewellery. I don’t really venture far from a minimalist chain on a day-to-day basis, but something really caught my eye with this amber and white crystal number. I will admit I was a bit cautious to order this one because I thought it would be a whole lot bigger than it actually is. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and it was a lot smaller than it looked on the picture, and therefore a lot more understated than expected. Obviously it’s still a statement piece, but in a delicate, pretty way – something I didn’t realise was really possible.
